Website Design, Redesign, and Improvement

A good website should be clear, fast, accessible, easy to maintain, and built around what visitors actually need to do. I create new websites, modernize outdated sites, and improve existing systems without forcing every project into the same template or platform.

New builds & redesigns

A credible website with a clear job to do.

I can help shape the content, structure, visual system, and technical foundation so the finished site supports both the organization and the people trying to use it.

  • New small-business and organization websites
  • Website redesign and visual modernization
  • Responsive mobile-first layouts
  • Information architecture and navigation cleanup
  • Contact, registration, and request forms
  • Content migration and page restructuring
  • Accessibility improvements
  • Performance optimization
  • Search fundamentals and metadata
  • Existing PHP or CMS troubleshooting
  • Feature additions and integrations
  • Client-owned migration and launch support

Website improvements

You may not need to start over.

If the existing site has a sound foundation, focused improvements can often solve the real problem more efficiently than a complete rebuild.

Fix what is broken

Debug PHP, forms, layouts, integrations, and confusing content paths.

Improve the experience

Strengthen mobile usability, accessibility, performance, hierarchy, and navigation.

Add what is missing

Build new features, forms, administrative tools, content sections, and integrations.

Move without lock-in

Migrate content and deploy to a provider account your organization controls.

Hosting & ownership

Your accounts stay yours

I do not sell or resell hosting.

Your domain, hosting, email, analytics, and other vendor accounts should remain under your ownership. I can recommend providers, help configure the account, migrate an existing website, and deploy the finished work without creating unnecessary lock-in.

Hosting selection, setup, configuration, migration, and deployment can be included as billable project work. The hosting service itself remains between you and the provider you choose.

Good fit

Projects where direct development makes a difference.

  • A business or organization needs a credible new website.
  • An existing site looks dated or is difficult to use on mobile.
  • A site needs features, forms, content restructuring, or performance work.
  • You want direct access to the developer doing the work.

Not advertised as a fit

  • Unpaid speculative design competitions
  • Guaranteed search ranking
  • 24/7 emergency hosting support
  • High-volume commodity template production
  • Deceptive marketing or copied content

Pricing

Quote the project. Use hourly work where it makes sense.

Defined website projects normally receive a written quote. Small changes, troubleshooting, consulting, support, and work beyond an approved scope are billed at the standard rate.
